Galderma Australia Pty Ltd (Galderma) is bound by the National Privacy Principles (Principles) contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act. What information does Galderma collect?

The personal information collected may vary depending on your particular interaction with Galderma but will be limited to that information necessary to record and manage our interaction with you (eg. your name, relevant contact details and information about the interaction).If any personal information is collected through visiting a Galderma website you will be informed of its use, purpose, who it may be disclosed to and the procedure to gain access to it through specific statements and privacy policies on the website. Galderma may provide links on its website to other sites including sites run by its affiliates. How does Galderma use personal information and to whom does Galderma disclose it?
The Principles generally require Galderma to use personal information only for the primary purpose for which it is collected, or for secondary purposes which are related to the primary purpose.In general, Galderma uses personal information for the following purposes:

Generally, we require that organisations outside Galderma who handle or obtain personal information as service providers to Galderma acknowledge the confidentiality of this information, undertake to respect an individual’s right to privacy and comply with the National Privacy Principles and this Policy.
In most cases, if you do not provide information about yourself which Galderma has requested, Galderma may not be able to provide you with the relevant service or information required.
Log Files and Aggregate Information
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track a user’s movements and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Galderma does make use of non-personally-identifiable statistical information collected from users (browser type, geographical location, age, gender) for optimisation of its sites as part of its continual internal review process and in a general way to learn more about its clients. This information will not be disclosed to third parties by the Galderma group of companies.

Galderma does use tracking technology (known as “cookies”) that deposits certain bits of information on your hard drive. Cookies allow us to track and target your interests to tailor our sites to suit your needs better.
